About the Conference:
This is the 1st Annual Huntington Disease Africa Conference 2022 themed ‘Facing the Future Together‘. It is a hybrid (virtual and in-person) event scheduled for 30.09. 2022, from 8am–5pm at the Emara Ole Sereni in Nairobi, Kenya.
Scope:
The conference covers topics on HD: genetics, clinical care, psychology workshops, family experiences and frontiers in therapeutics.
Who is coming to the Inaugural Conference?
The conference is a full-day program being curated by HD-Africa, with an audience of about 100, made up of HD patients, HD patient families, Scientists, medical professionals, pharmaceutical companies, universities and government officials. Our goal is to initiate scientific and social discourse around Huntington’s disease in Africa.
